Learning to become a safe driver doesn't simply come from time spent
behind the wheel. It’s also important to start a discussion with your
teen about what you expect from them, and the responsibilities that go
along with the privilege of driving. Teensurance has created these
parent resources to help start the conversation.

Coaching Your Teen
TeenDASH for Safety™ is a
new tool for parents that can help flag attitudes that
put kids at risk. Teens take a simple survey that helps
identify attitudes such as anger, aggression and rule
breaking. Parents then get a report that relates their
teens’ attitudes to driving risks and provides tips on
coaching better driving.
Setting Ground Rules
When you and your teen agree on a few ground rules,
you feel more confident and your teen gains a forum to
prove their responsibility and earn your trust. Use our
contract to start this important conversation.
