Accidents: Collisions where the insured driver is at fault will result in increased rates
Speeding Tickets: Tickets for exceeding the speed limit can result in higher insurance rates.
DUI: Driving Under the Influence of alcohol or other drugs that impair mental or motor skills.
Good Student Discount: Ranked in the top 20% of your class or carry a ‘B’ average or better.
Sample vehicle type: Our intent is to show rate changes based on vehicle types. Yet, because the actual vehicle will have a huge impact on rates, we have listed the vehicles we are using in this example.
Deductible: The amount a customer has agreed to pay before the insurance provider covers the rest. For example, the first $200 is paid by the customer and the rest is paid by the insurance company.

(Lower Coverage Deductibles means higher premiums)
Low – Comprehensive of 100 and Collision of 250
Med – Comprehensive of 250 and Collision of 500
High – Comprehensive of 500 and Collision of 1000

(Order of buttons is from High to Low because a High Deductible = lower rates, and a Low Deductible = higher rates.)
Limits: The maximum amount that the insurance company will pay on a covered loss. An example might be $100,000 maximum on bodily injury.

(Higher Coverage Limits means higher premiums)
Low – 25,000 per person and 50,000 per accident
Med – 50,000 per person and 100,000 per accident
High – 100,000 per person and 300,000 per accident

(Order of buttons is from High to Low because a High Coverage = Higher Premiums, and a Low Coverage = Lower Premiums.)
